Construction CTE consists of students working independently and as a team to fabricate, plan, and build a structure assigned by the teacher. When working solo, students learn how to manage a project from start to finish on their own. When students are placed in groups, one student is assigned as project manager and is responsible for the success of the group. Groups and leaders change each project. This allows students to get hands-on experience with real-world, work site conditions.
