Students who take Fundamentals of Real Estate in their fourth year will be introduced to the foundational principles of real estate, providing an overview of the real estate industry and its role in the economy. Students will explore topics such as property ownership, real estate law, financing and mortgages, real estate careers, and the processes of buying, selling, and leasing properties. Through hands-on projects, case studies, and real-world scenarios, students will gain practical knowledge about residential and commercial real estate, develop financial literacy skills, and understand the responsibilities of property ownership and investment.
