Program Description

• The Education and Training Program of Study is designed to provide high school students with hands-on experience in educational settings.

• Students participate in classroom settings, assisting teachers, and gaining practical skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and student support.

• The program includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, providing a comprehensive foundation in education.

Skills Taught:

• Classroom Management: Learning how to manage student behavior and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
   

• Time Management: Developing effective time management skills by balancing academic responsibilities with consistent, punctual attendance at the practicum site.
  Maintaining ongoing communication with both the high school teacher and site supervisor to ensure alignment and accountability
